Ok – I’ll be getting one in the next couple of weeks – Apple makes great products and as my laptop has got a broken motherboard, according to the amazing PC guys at CVS Computing (Tell Clive I sent you!), I’ll be replacing it with an iPad.

When the insurance comes through, I’ll be making an investment in the future. Someone on a Linkedin discussion called the early adopters “fashionistas”.

I like being a fashionista!

I’ll be flashing mine around like – well the comparisons are not really seemly, so I won’t use them, but – a flashy thing.
Early adopters should be providing the largest profits in the traditional Product Life Cycle phase, but Apple have covered a lot of bases by spreading across a range of options from the get-go.

They also have a couple of new tricks up their sleeve – upgrading the OS for free, and the App Store approach which drives greater functionality without their own investment.

So the traditional PLC concept is not easily applied to the iPad.
Apple are really innovators, and this is another example of their disruptive approach.

I think we should all buy one now to reward them.!!
