Principal Consultant Phil Wollerman, MBA

Phil has in-depth experience of sales and marketing techniques in the design, retail, manufacturing and technology industries.

As a Marketing Manager for the Wool Board, he was instrumental in the successful redevelopment of the internationally renowned Woolmark brand, working with leading designers and architects to create widespread adoption across fashion and interior design industries and driving consumer recognition.

As an “evangelist” for wool, Phil was involved in the early stages of the merino fashion industry and supported a number designer labels that have become household names. Through national and international promotions he gained hands-on experience in a wide range of marketing techniques and advertising strategy, from print, PR, direct mail and point-of-sale to producing international tours and multi-million dollar television campaigns.

Consulting clients range from international hotels and national retailers to  professional services and hospitality industries and more.

Starting out as consultant, this experience was instrumental to the success of boutique agency “Critical Mass” working with SMEs and Not-For-Profit organisations.

Taking 16 months out Phil then completed 16 Master’s-level papers at Victoria Business School, gaining a Master’s of Business Administration.

Returning to consulting, the internet rapidly became an integral part of marketing, and Phil’s early training and experience in website design, development and search engine optimisation was invaluable when setting up Search Plus, the agency focused on business growth online.
